Design and Implementation of Automatic Tests for Siemens PROFINET IO Development Kit

Abstract

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá návrhem a implementací automatického testování pro Siemens PROFINET IO Development Kit. Návrh automatického testování je založen na PROFINET komunikačním standartu a na funkcionalitě vývojového kitu Siemens. Implementace se provádí pomocí programovacího jazyku Python, testovacího nástroje Python Test Automat (který řídí proceduru testování), projektu v TIA Portalu pro S7-1500 CPU 1511-1 a TShark analyzátoru s intergovanými do něho Lua skripty. Funkčnost implementace automatického testu se ověřuje na realné aplikaci pomocí kompletního provozu testu.This master thesis refers to design and implementation of automated testing for Siemens PROFINET IO Development Kit. The design of the automated testing is based on the PROFINET communication standard and the Siemens development kit functionality. The implementation is done by means of the Python programming language, the Python Test Automat test tool (which manages the test procedure), a TIA Portal project for S7-1500 CPU 1511-1 and TShark analyzer with integrated Lua scripts. The functionality of the automated test implementation is being verified on the real application by a complete test run.
