Abstrakt
Cervical cancer takes on a very large and significant fraction of women healthcare issues globally and thus the development of the colposcope has been rapidly increasing ever since it has been invented and subsequently used in clinical practice. Colposcopy mainly became an important tool in the detection and diagnosis of any abnormalities that may lead to cervical lesions. This thesis focuses on the preparation of a simplified colposcope simulator which would allow for the recording, sensing, and processing of images and videos taken during the procedure of the cervical conization and to perform the suitable sensing of the true path of the trajectory when using the LLETZ operational tool. The work done in this thesis shows a different point of view for the evaluation of the cervical conization operation quality. By time, the diagnosis and treatments of cervical conization will reach stages that nobody could have imagined reaching. In the future, it would be extremely useful to perform the experiments within this thesis in the real operational theaters with some additional sensing devices that will be optimal from the point of view of the dimensions, ability to sense the whole anatomy of the cervix and loop trajectory reliability.
