This work investigates the possibilities of signal processing and measurements from transient grating spectroscopy on elastic anisotropic materials. We focused on improving the signal of limiting bulk waves and surface waves compared to the parasitic signal. The signal of the limiting bulk waves is only detected when the measured phase is set correctly. When we are processing the measured signal, we can find the thermal diffusivity from the signal drop. Thermal diffusivity is anisotropic in strongly elastic anisotropic materials.
