Předmětem této práce je popis problému vedení tepla v heterogenních materiálech, matematická formulace příslušné okrajové úlohy, její slabá formulace a numerické řešení pomocí metody konečných prvků. Součástí práce je vlastní realizace metody konečných prvků prostřednictvím programu Matlab, která je použita na několika různých případech. The subject of the thesis is description of heat conduction in heterogeneous materials, mathematical formulation of appropriate boundary problem, its weak formulation and numerical solution using the finite element method. The finite element method is implemented in Matlab program and is tested in several cases.
