This diploma thesis deals with the issue of calculations focused on spatial mechanisms. The main content of the diploma thesis is a program programmed in MATLAB, which symbolically generates the expressions needed for the calculations of these mechanisms. This text part of the diploma thesis then describes how the program works and what are its limitations, which must be taken into account when using it. The work also relates to theories concerning the solution of the kinematics of spatial mechanisms, including the theory of kinematic calibration of spatial mechanisms with neglect of erroneous sensors and theories of the composition of systems of bodies. The diploma thesis also contains several sample examples for the solution of both inverse kinematics and one example for the solution of the calibration of the spatial mechanism, in which the above-mentioned program is used.
