This bachelor thesis addresses the issue of freezing ice on the surface based on polyurethane rubber and especially its adhesion to the surface. The aim of this thesis was to create a surface with low ice adhesion whose properties would not deteriorate even in the case of damage and to determine its resistance to mechanical damage. In the theoretical part a research of various types of icephobic surfaces and the principles on which the individual surfaces work was processed. Based on this research, polyurethane rubber VytaFlex 40 was selected as the base material, to which oil from safflower was added. Its presence led to a significant reduction in the adhesion of ice to the surface, but also to a reduction in hardness.
