The master thesis deals with the rear suspension geometry design for the new CTU Lions EVO 2.0 Electric racing motorcycle prototype developed by the CTU Lions university team. The introductory theoretical part describes and explains the related technical parameters, affecting factors, rear suspension elements and mechanisms used in practice and the effect of the suspension system on the motorcycle driving performance. In the practical part, the design process itself is described from the beginning, including the requirements and conditions that limit the design. One of the goals is also to design options for adjusting the geometry of the mechanism to adapt the chassis to different needs and conditions. The object of the practical part is also to use the computer simulations to assess designed solutions in more detail in terms of the effects on the properties of the motorcycle chassis. At the end of the work, the results are evaluated and the possibilities of using different configurations of the rear suspension are discussed.
