Abstract

Bakalářskou práci na téma Ochranné prvky bankovek a mincí vydávaných ČNB tvoří dvě části. Teoretická část se věnuje penězům, jejich vzniku a rozvoji trhu peněz. Popisuje úlohu centrální banky ve společnosti, dále historii i současnost českých bankovek a mincí, včetně jejich výroby. Současně se zaměřuje na popis a ukázky použitých ochranných prvků. Praktická část porovnává ochranné prvky bankovek vydávaných ČNB a ECB. Rovněž se věnuje problému padělání jak na území ČR, tak i zemí eurozóny. Součástí praktické části je i dotazníkové šetření mající za úkol zjistit povědomí respondentů o použitých ochranných prvcích na českých bankovkách.

The theme of this bachelor thesis is Security Features of Banknotes and Coins Issued by the CNB and it is composed of two parts. The theoretical part describes money and its origin and explains the development of the money market. It describes the functions of the Central Bank, the past and the present of Czech banknotes and coins, and how they are made. This part also defines a description of security features that were used and shows some examples. The practical part compares CNB and ECB banknotes as well as their security features. It explains the issue of counterfeiting money in the Czech Republic and other countries of the EU. The last part is a survey about the security features of Czech banknotes and how well they are known.
