Hodnocení efektivity kryoterapie u akutních bolestivých stavů

Abstract

Předmětem bakalářské práce je statistické vyhodnocení analgetického efektu kryoterapie u akutních bolestivých stavů. Teoretická část pojednává o bolesti, jejím dělení a způsobu přenosu algické informace v lidském těle. Jsou zde zmíněny teorie bolesti a její hodnocení. Druhá polovina teoretické části se zabývá dělením těla z termického hlediska, principy kryoterapie a jejími druhy. V metodické části práce je popsán způsob sběru dat, použitá hodnotící škála a přístroje, pomocí kterých byl výzkum proveden. V této kapitole jsou též popsány metody statistického vyhodnocování dat. Diskuze následně pojednává o srovnání dosažených výsledků se zahraniční literaturou. Do výběrového souboru bylo zařazeno celkem 116 pacientů trpících akutními bolestivými stavy. Sběr dat proběhl na dvou pracovištích s podobnými přístroji pro aplikaci lokální kryoterapie. U obou přístrojů byla zvolena vhodná testová statistika za účelem porovnání a zjištění jejich účinnosti. Výsledky byly diskutovány v porovnání s výsledky studií zahraničních autorů.

The subject of this thesis is statistical evaluation of the analgetic effects of the cryotherapy in acute pain conditions. The theoretical part deals with pain, its divisions and the ways of transmission of algic information in human's body. Pain theories and its evaluation are included as well. The second half is dedicated to deviding human's body from the thermic standpoint, principles of cryotherapy and its types. Methodology part describes the way of data collection, used evaluating scale and devices that were taking part in this study. Discussion chapter discusses the comparison of outcomes of this study and foreign literature. 116 pacients suffering from acute pain conditions were included in this study. The data were collected from two different institutions with similar devices for the local cryotherapy. In both cases, the suitable test statistic was used to determine the effectiveness. Subsequently, the effectiveness of both devices was compared using test statistic. Outcomes of the study were discussed in comparison to foreign literature.
