Analýza vlivů teroristických útoků na psychiku cestujících v letecké dopravě

Abstract

Tato diplomová práce je zaměřena na problematiku teroristických útoků v civilní letecké dopravě a jejich vlivu na psychiku cestujících. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a výzkumnou část. V teoretické části jsou uvedeny a popsány nejčastější psychické i fyzické reakce a emoční stavy související s létáním. Poté psychické úzkostné poruchy, které předchází nebo jsou následkem traumatizujících událostí. Dále je charakterizován terorismus, jeho cíle a taktika teroristických organizací. Při dosahování svých cílů teroristé v reakci na přijatá bezpečnostní opatření na letištích volí stále sofistikovanější taktické metody. Neveřejné prostory letišť jsou oproti veřejným prostorám relativně dobře zabezpečené. Na základě odborné literatury a příkladů teroristických činů spáchaných v prostorách letišť je demonstrován vývoj taktiky terorismu v letecké dopravě. Část práce je věnována preventivním bezpečnostním opatřením na letištích, organizacím zabývajících se bezpečností civilní letecké dopravy a jejich normám a prováděcím předpisům. V závěru teoretické části je popsán význam infrastruktury letišť pro zvládání mimořádných událostí, které mohou nejen v souvislosti s protiprávními činy v letecké dopravě nastat. V praktické části bylo cílem na základě zvolené metody kvantitativního výzkumného šetření, sestavit anonymní nestandardizovaný dotazník. Na základě analýzy výsledků z dotazníkového šetření nejprve verifikovat nebo falzifikovat stanovené hypotézy. Zjistit zda cestující trpí fobiemi z létání a jak velká je jejich intenzita strachu. Dále jakých mimořádných událostí se cestující nejvíce obávají při využívání letecké dopravy. Z dotazníku bylo dále zjišťováno, zda hrozby a teroristické útoky ovlivňují výběr vybrané destinace a využívání letecké dopravy. Závěr praktické části byl zaměřen na zjištění, jaký postoj mají cestující k nastaveným bezpečnostním kontrolám. Výsledky z výzkumného šetření byly analyzovány a stanovené cíle splněny. Výzkumným šetřeným bylo zjištěno, že cestující ve svém běžném životě trpí různými druhy fobií, ale jen malá část z nich souvisí se strachem z létání. Z nabízených mimořádných událostí se cestující nejvíce obávají technické závady letadla, následuje havárie v důsledku selhání lidského faktoru a teroristický útok v prostorách letiště. Teroristické útoky výrazným způsobem ovlivňují výběr destinace a využívání letecké dopravy. Převážná část cestujících se před odletem zajímá o bezpečnostní situaci v zemi, kam se chystají vycestovat. Minimální je ovšem informovanost cestujících co se týče aktivace krizových center na letištích v případě nastalé mimořádné události.

This diploma thesis is focused on the issue of terrorist attacks in civil aviation and their influence on the psyche of passengers. The thesis is divided into theoretical and research part. In the theoretical part, the most common mental and physical reactions and emotional states related to flying are stated and described. Then psychological anxiety disorders that precede or are the result of traumatic events. Furthermore, terrorism, its goals and tactics of terrorist organizations are characterized. In achieving their goals, terrorists are choosing increasingly sophisticated tactical methods in response to security measures taken at airports. Non-public parts of Airports are relatively well secured compared to public areas. On the basis of literature and examples of terrorist acts committed at the airport, the development of terrorist tactics in air transport is demonstrated. Part of the work is devoted to preventive security measures at airports, civil aviation safety organizations and their standards and implementing regulations. The conclusion of the theoretical part describes the importance of airport infrastructure for dealing with extraordinary events that may occur not only in connection with illegal acts in air transport. In the practical part, the aim was to create an anonymous non-standardized questionnaire on the basis of the chosen method of quantitative research. Based on the analysis of the results from the questionnaire survey, first verify or falsify the hypotheses. Find out if passengers suffer from flying phobias and how big is their fear intensity. In addition, what is the most serious concern for passengers when using air travel. The questionnaire also examined whether threats and terrorist attacks affect the choice of destination and the use of air travel. The conclusion of the practical part was focused on finding out what attitude the passengers have to the set security controls. The results of the research were analyzed and the objectives set. Researchers found that passengers in their daily lives suffer from different types of phobias, but only a small proportion of them are related to fear of flying. Of the emergencies offered, passengers are most concerned about the technical defects of the aircraft, followed by an accident due to human error and a terrorist attack at the airport. Terrorist attacks have a significant impact on destination selection and air travel. The vast majority of passengers are interested in the security situation in their country of departure before departure. However, passenger awareness of the activation of crisis centers at airports in the event of an emergency is minimal.
