Dále pojednává o anatomii a fyziologii pohybu hrudní páteře a ramenního kloubu. Abstract Title of thesis: Physiotherapy in a Polytrauma Patient The Bachelor thesis studies the physiotherapeutic influence on the state of health in a polytrauma patient following a fall during paragliding, who suffered an injury of the thoracic spine and of the shoulder joint. The thesis is divided into two basic parts. Part One, The Current State, analyzes the issue from the polytrauma viewpoint. It describes the complex care of a polytrauma patient from the primary medical care to the rehabilitation care, soft tissues and bones injuries in general, and injury of the thoracic spine and of the shoulder joint in particular. It describes the anatomy and physiology of movement of the thoracic spine and of the shoulder joint. It mentions the application of tools during conservative treatment. The chapter on methodology describes the examination and therapeutic methods that are used in the special part. The special part provides a detailed case history of the patient. The initial kinesiology analysis is performed to create a short-term and a long-term rehabilitation plan. This part includes the description of individual therapeutic units and a final kinesiology analysis. The thesis is concluded with an assessment of the results achieved by the selected therapy and an evaluation of its effects. In general we may conclude that in the client the selected rehabilitation procedure, the active approach, the positive motivation and the good physical condition prior to the injury have resulted in a physiological state in most rehabilitated areas. Key concepts Polytrauma; tissues injury; thoracic spine; shoulder joint; physiotherapy; paragliding.
