Abstract

Diplomní projekt se zabývá fenoménem vágních míst Prahy. Na vybraném úseku procházejícím různorodými urbanistickými typologiemi analyzuji pixelovou metodou a klasifikuji opomíjené, ztracené, neproduktivní místa. Mezery, pomlky ve městě. Shrnutím analýzy si vytvářím otázky diplomního projektu - jak začlenit vágní místa do městského organismu a jak s nimi hospodařit. Vyzdvihuji jejich pozitivní vlastnosti a potenciál. Odpovědi nastinuji pomocí procesů. Definuji si nástroje a následně abstrahuji jejich aplikaci. Diplomní projekt je úvahou nad tím, jak se vyrovnat s místy vymaňujícími se z městského řádu.

This thesis investigates the phenomena of terrain vague in Prague. With a selected section going through diverse urban typologies the thesis analyzes and classifies unappreciated, disregarded, lost and unproductive places using pixelation method. Classifying the gaps, voids of the city. By summarizing the analysis, questions for the diploma thesis are formulated: how to incorporate the terrain vague sites to the urban structure and how to manage them. It then highlights their positive features and potential. The answers to the formulated questions are introduced by the means of processes. Tools are defined and their application is further abstracted. Finally, this thesis speculates how to deal with the places outside the urban order.
