Praktické experimenty byly prováděny se stejnou vědeckou přísností jako na simulátoru s důrazem na nedegenerovanou typificace FWM The study object of this master’s thesis is to study a non-linear phenomenon called four waver mixing, its causes and consequences and how to mitigate its effect, all within the context of optical networks with spacings of dense channels. Throughout this work, typified rules were applied within the standards of the international telecommunications association (ITU) and in some cases the system was put to the test by extending the tolerance of certain factors. The proposed work environment houses a simulator with characteristics very close to those found during the design of optical networks. At first sight, several experiments were carried out in this simulator in order to appear FWM, and later for a controlled experimental lab environment. The practical experiments were conducted with the same scientific rigor applied to the simulator with an emphasis on non-degenerated FWM typification.
