The topic of this thesis is a dynamic experiment carried out on an existing footbridge. The first part of this thesis is primarily dedicated to an experimental dynamic analysis of footbridges. A summary of standards, regulations and recommendations, that are related to the topic, can be also found in the first part of the thesis. The second part of the thesis is focused on the dynamic experiment on an existing footbridge in Prague 6 across the Patočkova street. The experimental modal analysis was carried out within the experiment and natural frequencies and modes of the structure were evaluated from it. Then the dynamic load testing was performed. The dynamic response to dynamic pedestrian load was evaluated and the final results were assessed according to current standards, regulations and recommendations.
