Ta umožní regulaci procesů prolongace a hojení pomocí distrakčního cyklu. This thesis contains a general overwiew of the current status of the issue of distraction osteogenesis and the healing of fractured long bones, particularly using devices for external fixation. The thesis contains a basic description of the modern "fixators", their disadvantages and a design of modification of these devices by adding an electronically controlled unit, that enables the regulation of the prolongation and healing processes by a distraction cycle. In the practical part of the thesis the components of the modified Ilizarov aparatus are tested by performing different measurements for the verification of their stability and strength.
