Ensuring occupational safety and health on construction sites is a prevailing issue in construction. This fact mainly stems from the approach of investors who buy the construction "service" from the contractor. A contractor selected on a basis of competitive tender cannot reflect in the price of the work their non-compliance with the compulsory occupational safety and health requirements. This thesis focuses on the issue of obligations of investor, planner, and contractor in the context of occupational safety and health with regards to the performance of an occupational safety and health coordinator on a construction site. The author draws attention to the frequent mistakes of parties in a tender process and brings his findings from practice from the view of an occupational safety and health coordinator
