Abstract

Náplňou tejto diplomovej práce bolo vypracovanie návrhu Národnej knižnice Českej republiky v rozsahu architektonickej štúdie, vybraných výkresov dokumentácie pre stavebné povolenie, základnej koncepcie systémov technických zariadení budov a návrhu konštrukčného systému. Samotnému návrhu budovy predchádzal návrh celkovej urbanistickej koncepcie širokého okolia územia opierajúci sa o urbanistickú analýzu. Výsledok práce je vnímaný ako štúdia umiestnenia potrebného objemu novej stavby národnej knižnice do širšieho historického centra Prahy.

The aim of this diploma thesis was to create a design for a new building for the Czech National Library in the scope of the architectural study, selected drawings of a housing project for the building permit, a basic concept of technical equipment for buildings and a proposal for a construction system. The design of the building was preceded by the proposal of a comprehensive urban concept of the wider surroundings of the location supported by urbanistic analysis. The result of the thesis is perceived as a case study of placing required volume of a new national library building into the wider historical centre of Prague.
