Abstract

Stavba je navrhnuta na nezastavěné parcele, která se nachází mezi ulicí U Lužického semináře a ulici Cihelná. Ulice Cihelná je nejrušnější ulice kvůli turistické cestě, která vede od Karlového mostu přes muzeum Kafky do metra Malostranska. Hmota budovy opakuje tvar parku a doplňuje urbanistický vzhled Malé Strany. Objekt se skladá z jedného podzemního a třech nadzemních podlaží a obsuhuje knihovnu, kavárnu a tělocvičnu pro lidí, které bydlí na Malostranské a potřebujou místo pro volný čas a zábavu.

The building is designed on an undeveloped plot, which is located between U Lužického semináře Street and Cihelná Street. Cihelna Street is the busiest street due to the tourist path leading from the Charles Bridge through the Kafka Museum to Malostranska metro station. The mass of the building repeats the shape of the park and complements the urban appearance of the Mala Strana. The building consists of one underground and three above-ground floors and includes a library, café and gym for people who live in Malostranská and need a place for leisure and entertainment.
