The topic of the thesis is the investigation of the influence of atmospheric conditions on the stability of the tripod, focusing on the thermal effects of the Sun or artificial source. The thesis deals with whether the tripod is moving or not due to temperature. In the part of the diploma thesis, the stability of the tripod is evaluated on the basis of long-term continuous deformation measurement and the possible influence of atmospheric conditions is evaluated. Furthermore, the thesis includes experimental procedures designed to determine the influence of temperature on the stability of a tripod. Three different tripods are tested in the experiments. Part of the thesis is also verification of the accuracy of the measuring horizontal directions of the reference instrument used in the measurement according to standard ČSN ISO 17123-3.
