Předmětem diplomové práce je návrh rekonstrukce divadla Drak v Hradci Králové. Zadání vzniklo z iniciativy vedení divadla, které trápí nevyhovující provozní řešení budovy. To vzniklo díky adaptaci budovy z původního studentského domu na divadelní budovu. Postupné přistavování se projevuje jak v provozním schématu, tak i ve hmotovém výrazu stavby. Návrh zachovává původní budovu a přistavuje k ní kompaktní a čistou hmotu, která umožňuje logické provozní návaznosti s ohledem na potřeby divadelního souboru divadla Drak. The subject of the diploma is a design of reconstruction of the „Drak“ theater in Hradec Králové. The assignment was created due to the theater management, that is not satisfied with an inadequate working state of the building. This inadequate state is due to the adaptation of the former house for students to a theater building. Over time, there were new constructions added to the original building, which can be seen in both, the working scheme and the mass expression of the building. Design of the reconstruction preserves the original building and adds a compact and clean mass, that allowes logical operational continuity reflecting the needs of the ensemble of the „Drak“ theater.
