Dopady využívání stavebních materiálů s příměsí azbestu

Abstract

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na dopady využívání azbestových vláken coby příměsi stavebních materiálů s užším zaměřením na azbestocementové výrobky vystavené vlivům vnější povětrnosti. Nejprve jsou uvedeny obecné informace týkající se vlastností tohoto minerálu a jeho negativních vlivů na lidské zdraví. Další část rozebírá současnou problematiku azbestu ve vybraných zahraničních státech a porovnává ji se situací v České republice. Analyzovány jsou též možné varianty řešení výskytu azbestu ve střešní krytině včetně způsobů likvidace tohoto odpadu. Výchozím bodem praktické části práce je pasportizace staveb nacházejících se na území obce s rozšířenou působností Žatec, která je zaměřena na výskyt azbestocementových stavebních materiálů. S ohledem na získané výsledky je vypracována i samostatná kapitola věnovaná problematice opuštěných zemědělských objektů, tzv. brownfields, které jsou významnou zátěží krajiny nejen z pohledu přítomnosti azbestu. Vlastním výzkumem byla dále ověřena reálná úroveň degradace azbestocementových střešních krytin. Na základě získaných údajů pak bylo vypočteno potenciální množství vláken uniklých do vnějšího prostředí. Závěrečnou částí je analýza finančních nákladů spojených s odstraněním, likvidací a nahrazením tohoto typu původní krytiny.

This diploma thesis is focused on the impacts of the use of asbestos fibre as an additive of building materials with a closer specialization in asbestos-cement products exposed to exterior weather conditions. At first, general information on the features of this mineral is given and its negative impacts on human health are described. Another part discusses the current issue related to asbestos in selected foreign countries and compares the situation there to the situation in the Czech Republic. Also, the possible options for the solution of asbestos occurrence in roofing including the disposal of this type of waste are analysed. A starting point of the practical part of this work is the passportization of buildings located in the territory of the municipality with extended powers Žatec which is focused on the occurrence of asbestos-cement building materials. With regard to the obtained results, a separate chapter is devoted to the issue of abandoned agricultural properties, the so-called brownfields, which are a significant burden for nature not only from the point of view of asbestos presence. A research was performed to verify the real level of degradation of asbestos-cement roofing. On the basis of the obtained data, a calculation of the potential amount of fibres leaked to the environment was made. The final part of the work is an analysis of financial costs related to the removal, disposal and replacement of this type of the original roofing.
