Abstract

Revize dosud zachovalé ale zneuctěné zahrady bývalého františkánského kláštera v Jindřichově Hradci. Místo pro nové městské divadlo bez stálého souboru. Strohá forma utvářená historickou strukturou zahrady v sobě ukrývá variabilní divadelní technologii. Odpovídá na různorodé požadavky hostujících divadelních souborů i flexibilní kulturní využití. Snaha moderovat kontakt s klášterem a aktivovat jeho zahradu. Nové divadlo a jeho svět "za zdí" s jasnými vazbami na město, které je obklopuje.

The revision of well-preserved, yet dishonored garden of the former Franciscan monastery in Jindřichův Hradec. The place for new municipal theatre without a permanent ensemble. An austere form, created by the historical structure of the garden, holds a variable theatre technology. It responds to the varied requirements of the visiting ensembles, as well as to the flexible cultural use. The pursuit to guide the contact with the monastery and to activate its garden. The new theatre and its world is "behind the walls" with clear connections towards the city which surrounds it.
