Zvyšování vizuální kvality scénářů pro vozidlové simulátory

Abstract

Cílem této bakalářské práce je prozkoumat možnosti zkvalitňování virtuální reality pro scénáře používaných pro vozidlové simulátory a následně na základě průzkumu vytvoření pluginu pro jejich zkvalitňování. První část je věnována 3D modelování, kde jsou vysvětleny základní pojmy, metody reprezentace těles v prostoru a metody jejich texturování a mapování. Další kapitola se zabývá dopravními simulátory, jejich popisem a dále virtuální realitou, kterou se pro dopravní simulátory používá a jaké jsou požadavky pro modely používané ve virtuální realitě. Na tuto kapitolu navazuje průzkum, který odhaluje největší nedostatky, které brání být scénářům více reálné. Na základě tohoto průzkumu byl v praktické části navrhnut způsob, jak těmto nedostatkům zabránit a byli navrženy funkce, které tyto problémy řeší. V poslední kapitole je proveden experiment, který ukazuje, jak byla tato práce užitečná a jaký je rozdíl mezi scénáři před využitím pluginů a po jejich využití.

Abstract The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to investigate the possibilities of improving virtual reality for the scenarios used for vehicle simulators and then on the basis of research to create a plugin for their improvement. The first part is devoted to 3D modeling, which explains basic concepts, methods of representation of solids in space and methods of their texturing and mapping. The next chapter deals with traffic simulators, their description and also the virtual reality that is used for traffic simulators and what are the requirements for models used in virtual reality. The following is a description of the Rhinoceros program and an explanation of how useful it is for vehicle simulator scenarios and how to program its new features. This chapter is followed by a survey that reveals the greatest shortcomings that prevent the scenarios from being more realistic. Based on this survey, a practical part has been proposed to prevent these deficiencies and to propose scripts that solve these problems. The last chapter is an experiment that shows how this work was useful and what is the difference between the scenarios before using the plugins and using them.
