Práce zahrnuje stručné ekonomické zhodnocení moderních technologií generace O3 a NOx a historický přehled generace těchto aktivních částic. This thesis is dedicated to the generation of active species, such as ozone (O3) and various types of nitric oxides (NOx), with non-thermal electrical discharges. Theory of dielectric barrier discharges, positive and negative corona discharges together with the typical electrode systems are described. The thesis includes brief economical evaluation of modern technologies of O3 and NOx production and historical overview of this active species generation. Applications of O3 and NOx are discussed.
