Abstract
Tato práce se věnuje refrakční vadě astigmatismu, jeho druhům a metodám vyšetření. Popisuje přístroje pro zjištění objektivní refrakce i metody pro refrakci subjektivní a přístrojepro zobrazení předního segmentu oka. Dále se zabývá korekcí této vady za pomoci měkkých kontaktních čoček a výběrem jejich správného typu (sférická, torická).
 
This work deals with refractive defect astigmatism, its types and methods ofexaminations. Describes devices for detecting an objective and subjective refraction methods and devices for displaying anterior eye segment. Also deals with the correction of this defect by soft contact lenses and a selection of the correct type (spherical, toric)
