Histologie slinivky břišní, Langerhansových ostrůvků a problematika diabetes mellitus

Abstract

Bakalářská práce s názvem "Histologie slinivky břišní, Langerhansových ostrůvků a problematika diabetes mellitus" se zabývá průkazem endokrinní části pankreatu, která je tvořena různými typy buněk uspořádaných do tzv. Langerhansových ostrůvků. V teoretické části práce jsou probrána témata, která úzce souvisejí s danou problematikou. První část je zaměřena na obecnou anatomii a histologii slinivky břišní, histologii Langerhansových ostrůvků a objevitele endokrinní části slinivky břišní. Druhá část se věnuje složení a funkci hormonů Langerhansových ostrůvků a problematice diabetes mellitus. Do této časti je také zahrnuta biochemie glukózy, možnosti vyšetření glykémie a její biochemické hodnoty. Praktická část práce si klade za cíl imunohistochemicky prokázat B-buňky Langerhansových ostrůvků. V praktické části je také popsána příprava histologického preparátu a průkaz endokrinní části slinivky břišní pomocí vybraných přehledných barvících metod. Součástí praktické části je také provedení menšího screeningu diabetes mellitus pomocí stanovení glykémie nalačno v laboratorních podmínkách.

Bachelor Thesis named "The Histology of the Pancreas, Islets of Langerhans and the Issue of Diabetes Mellitus" focuses on proof of endocrine portion of the pancreas, which is composed of different types of cells arranged in so-called islets of Langerhans. The theoretical part is focused on topics which are closely related to the subject matter. The first part is focused on general anatomy and histology of the pancreas, histology of islets of Langerhans, and the discoverer of endocrine pancreas. The second part deals with the composition and function of hormones and the issue of diabetes mellitus. This part also includes glucose biochemistry, blood sugar level examination and its biochemical values. Practical part of the paper aims to prove immunohistochemically B-cells of islets of Langerhans. In this part, it is also described the preparation of histological preparation and the proof of endocrine part of the pancreas using selected basic staining methods. Part of the practical unit is also the execution of smaller screening for diabetes mellitus by determining the blood sugar levels on an empty stomach in laboratory conditions.
