This thesis aims to create a mathematic model of a VTOL unmanned aerial vehicle for the purpose of debugging the autopilot's configuration parameters. As part of the work, the Matlab & Simulink simulation was created, enabling the integration of the controlling algorithms of ArduPilot, an existent autopilot, in a software-in-the-loop simulation. The work also studies the identification of flight parameters of a specific airplane, but the whole simulation is predominantly designed parametrically, which allows easy remodelling for the purposes of the identification of an entirely different vehicle.
