This bachelor thesis focuses on the topography of the human eye cornea and the analysis of methods of its measuring. It introduces us to the geometrical-physical parameters of the cornea. It describes the various methods of measuring the shape of the cornea. It also mentions the historical development of measuring the topography of the cornea. It concerns itself in detail with the currently used methods, especially the most widely used methods of Placido's disk a Scheimpflug's camera. A part of the thesis is also devoted to the experimental methods, which will probably be used for topography measuring of the cornea in the future. The thesis points to the accuracy and eligibility of the various methods and also mentions the different ways of presenting the acquired data. Another part of the thesis includes information about the currently commercially available equipment and their parameters, including the familiarization with the realistic uses of this equipment in optometric practice.
