The thesis is analysing the biomechanics of blood vessels and their grafts. There is briefly described the anatomy of the blood vessels. Further, the overview of currently used vascular grafts and their mechanical properties is summarised. Measuring process and results of inflation extensive tests of collagen composite tube are also presented.
