Abstract

Tématem diplomního projektu je návrh nové Vřídelní kolonády v Karlových Varech. Projekt vznikl, jako reakce na aktuální dění a stav dnešní Vřídelní kolonády. Práce vychází z předpokladu vyhlášení architektonické soutěže a přesunutí jímání Vřídla na druhý břeh. Mým cílem bylo ukázat zcela nový pohled na tento prostor a vytvoření důstojného chrámu pro Vřídlo.

The theme of the diploma project is the design of the new Hot Spring Colonnade in Karlovy Vary. The project was created in response to the current events and the state of today's Hot Spring Colonnade. The thesis is based on the assumption of an architectural competition and the transfer of the Spring collection to the other bank. My aim was to show a whole new look at this space and the creation of a dignified temple for the Hot Spring.
