Následuje výběr vhodného a cenově dostupného řešení. The purpose of this project is the realization of an autonomous robot for capturing the profile of terrain. In the first part of this project I examine various sensors to measure distance and terrain curvature. I then choose a fitting, cost-effective solution. In the second part I design an autonomous robot that captures the digital elevation model of terrain using a gyroscope and an accelerometer. In the third part I describe the design of the printed circuit board with the electronics that control the electric motor, watches the state of the battery, processes the data from position sensors and detects and autonomously avoids obstacles. After that I verify the functionality of the realized design and accuracy of sensors through testing and comparison of copies of these sensors.
