The main topic of this diploma thesis is to analyze the mechanisms of indoor spaces coverage using wireless technology based on the IEEE 802.11ac standard with regard to high numbers of communicating devices. The goal of the thesis is to simulate the high-density wireless network based on the current design methods and to focus on the limits of the wireless network as far as the number of concurrent active client devices and achieved throughput are concerned. The model of the high-density wireless network is implemented in NS-3.26 simulator. There are three scenarios simulated in NS-3 and their results processed using Matlab. The results revealed that the more client devices communicate within the wireless network, the lower average throughput they can achieve.
