The goal of thesis is to implement a system for detecting artefacts in EEG signals using independent component analysis. The system will be implemented in Matlab, namely Eeglab toolbox. EEG data will be converted into independent components and its sources will be localized in a 3D space. These outputs will be analyzed by machine learning techniques to determine whether the source contains brain activity, a muscle or technical artefacts. The system will be tested on the EEG data from real research and subsequently used as a plug-in toolbox EEGLab.
