Porovnání ekonomické efektivnosti investice do uhelné a jaderné elektrárny

Abstract

Cílem této práce je srovnat uhelné a jaderné zdroje z hlediska investičního rozhodování a pokusit se zařadit tento typ zdrojů do kontextu současné situace v energetice. Obsahem první části mojí práce je stručný popis a porovnání jaderných a uhelných elektráren z hlediska jejich historie a technického provedení. Ve druhé části se věnuji rozboru a srovnání investic do těchto zdrojů energie, především z hlediska výdajů. Ve třetí části se věnuji popisu trhu s elektrickou energií, úloze, kterou mají v jeho rámci uhelné a jaderné elektrárny, a odhadu vývoje veličin nezbytných pro výsledné porovnání. V poslední čtvrté části na základě údajů z předešlých kapitol odhaduji toky hotovosti porovnávaných investic, provádím výpočet čisté současné hodnoty a komentuji dosažené výsledky.

The goal of this thesis is to compare coal and nuclear power plants from investment point of view and to try to identify the role of this type of power sources in current situation of the whole electricity sector. In the first part of my thesis I briefly describe and compare nuclear and coal power plants corcerning their history nad technical layout. In the second part I analyse and compare investment into these power sources, especially regarding costs. In the third part I describe the electricity market, the role of coal and nuclear power plants within this market and estimate the future development of factors necessary for the final comparison. In the last fourth part I make estimates of cash flows relating the investment, compute net present value of each investment and comment obtained results.
