Disertační práce svým tématem spadá do oblasti inženýrské geodézie, a to konkrétně do oblasti zpracování geodetických měření. Práce popisuje navrhované komplexní řešení zpracování a vyhodnocení velmi přesných klasických terestrických geodetických měření. M-odhadu. Součástí návrhu je i rozsáhlé testování stability a účinnosti navrhované metody vycházející z principu umělého počítačového modelování geodetických měření. Topic of this thesis belongs to the field of engineering surveying, specifically to the field of processing of geodetic measurements. The thesis describes the proposed complex solution for processing and assessment of highly accurate classic terrestrial geodetic measurements. These measurements are composed of large-volume data sets of repeatedly measured slope distances, horizontal directions and zenith angles and made by terrestrial surveying of local spatial geodetic network of smaller size. These data sets are characterized by large number of redundant measurements. The overall complex solution includes a number of partial processing operations and methods, which are theoretically described, assessed and used in the development of original software application. The software application is attached to the thesis. Presented processing procedure deals with automatic detection, checking and analysis of geodetic measurements, which are loaded form input raw measurement data files. Loaded measurements are processed as measurements of free geodetic network by least squares adjustment. Particular attention is paid to the automatic detection and testing of sets of measurements, automatic detection of spatial geodetic network, its analysis and adjustment with the exclusion of outliers and gross errors of measurement. The thesis describes proposed outliers detection method, which is based on the evaluation of measurement residuals computed by robust adjustment. The robust adjustment is realized by robust maximum likelihood estimators (called M-estimators). The thesis includes an extensive testing of stability and efficiency of proposed detection method. This testing is based on the synthetic computer modelling of terrestrial geodetic measurements.
