Abstract

Diplomová práce se zabývá návrhem Kulturního centra umění a poznání na Praze 13, které zahrnuje prostory knihovny a galerie. Návrh je situován ve čtvrti Stodůlky, v těsné blízkosti Centrálního parku. Cílem návrhu bylo vytvořit prostor určený pro setkávání lidí, trávení volného času a rozvoj kulturního života v dané lokalitě. Objekt je současnou reinterpretací funkcí veřejné knihovny a výstavního prostoru, přičemž reaguje na své okolí jak v urbanistickém, tak architektonickém měřítku. Ve vztahu k parku navrhuje otevřený a přívětivý parter, který plynule propojuje exteriér s interiérem a podporuje spontánní využívání veřejného prostoru. Návrh je koncipován v souladu s aktuálními požadavky na energetickou efektivitu a udržitelnou výstavbu. Důraz je kladen na kvalitu vnitřního prostředí, hospodaření s energiemi a materiálovou udržitelnost.

The diploma project focuses on the design of a Cultural Center for Art and Knowledge located in Prague 13, comprising a public library and an art gallery. The proposed site is situated in the Stodůlky district, in close proximity to the Central Park. The main goal of the design was to create a space suitable for community gatherings, leisure activities, and cultural engagement. The building represents a contemporary interpretation of the public library and exhibition space, responding to the surrounding urban and natural context. In relation to the park, the design emphasizes an open and welcoming ground floor, which creates a fluid transition between the interior and the exterior, encouraging informal use of the public realm. The project is designed in accordance with current standards for energy efficiency and sustainable construction. Emphasis is placed on the quality of the indoor environment, energy performance, and the responsible use of materials.
