Možnosti využití metod zpravodajství z otevřených zdrojů při získávání informací v síti internet

Abstract

Bakalářská práce praktickým pokusem ověřuje možnosti zpravodajství z otevřených zdrojů v síti internet, které by mohly být přínosem pro policejní orgány jako zdroj podpůrných informací pro operativně pátrací činnost. V teoretické části práce je obecně popsáno zpravodajství, specificky zpravodajství z otevřených zdrojů v síti Internet a také některé jeho konkrétní metody. Dále je zde popsána operativně pátrací činnost policejních orgánů. V praktické části práce je provedena případová studie na dvou konkrétních osobách, o kterých byly s pomocí vybraných metod OSINT vyhledány informace potenciálně relevantní pro policejní orgány ze skutečných zdrojů v prostředí sítě Internet. Studie probíhala podle předem stanovené metodiky, která byla nastavena tak, aby byla proveditelná běžným schopnějším uživatelem počítačových systémů. Použity proto byly zejména nástroje a postupy nevyžadující pokročilou znalost výpočetní techniky, případně programování. Získané informace jsou v kapitole Výsledky prezentovány otevřenou formou a v tabulkách. Každá informace je ohodnocena z hlediska její věrohodnosti a také užitečnosti pro předpokládaný účel. V kapitole Diskuze jsou následně popsány a vysvětleny metody a zdroje dat, které vedly ke stanovení informací. V závěru práce jsou porovnány výsledky studie jednotlivých osob a ohodnoceny důvody rozdílů mezi nimi. Jsou zde také stanovena doporučení pro zefektivnění zpravodajství z otevřených zdrojů.

This bachelors thesis experimentally verifies the potential of open-source intelligence (OSINT) gathered from the Internet as a supportive information source for law enforcement agencies in their operational and investigative activities. The theoretical part of the thesis provides a general overview of intelligence, with a particular focus on OSINT in the context of the Internet, including several specific methods of its use. It also outlines the operational and investigative work carried out by police authorities. The practical part includes a case study of two specific individuals. Information potentially relevant to law enforcement agencies was gathered from publicly available online sources using selected OSINT techniques. The study followed a predefined methodology designed to be feasible for an average computer user without requiring advanced IT skills or programming knowledge. The findings are presented in the Results chapter, both in narrative form and in tables. Each piece of information is evaluated in terms of its credibility and usefulness for the intended purpose. The Discussion chapter then explains the methods and data sources that led to the identification of the information. The final part of the thesis compares the outcomes of the two case studies and analyzes the reasons for any differences between them. It also offers recommendations for improving the efficiency of OSINT in practice.
