There are many ways to compute optical flow. In this text we evaluate optical flow using partial differential equations. Many methods solve the problem using only two images at a time. We introduce a method which computes the optical flow on the whole sequence of images. The introduced approach evaluates the optical flow using gradient descent, in which the difference between the computed and the given light intensity of a point on the image sequence is minimized. An attempt was made to implement a program using the C++ programming language and and the calculations of this solver were analyzed.
