Abstract

Práce je zaměřena na měření diferenciálních účinných průřezů v párové produkci vysoko-energetických kvarků top-antitop. Měření, které je provedeno v hadronovém rozpadovém kanále obou kvarků, používá data z 13 TeV proton-protonových srážek nasbíraných v letech 2015-2018 detektorem ATLAS na urychlovači LHC v CERN. Změřená spektra byla poté porovnána s předpověďmi Standardního Modelu a jsou použita ke stanovení mezí na hodnoty koeficientů efektivní teorie pole, která rozšiřuje Standardní Model.

The thesis is focused on measurements of differential cross-sections of highly boosted top-antitop quark pair production in the all-hadronic decay channel. The measurements are performed with 13 TeV proton-proton collisions collected in 2015-2018 by the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN. Measured differential cross-sections are compared with the Standard Model predictions and they were used to set limits on coefficients of the effective field theory operators extending the Standard Model.
