This bachelor's thesis focuses on the analysis of the labor market in the Czech Republic and its response to the refugee wave from Ukraine. Recently, Ukraine has become the epicenter of geopolitical conflicts, leading to the mass migration of its population to safer countries, including the Czech Republic. The aim of this thesis is to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the labor market in the Czech Republic and assess the impact of the refugee wave on employment, professional mobility, and other key indicators. The first part of the thesis provides a general overview of the labor market in the Czech Republic, including its key characteristics, current trends, and its significance for society. Subsequently, it delves into the refugee wave from Ukraine, analyzing its causes and consequences, as well as examining the legal framework and measures that have been taken for the integration of refugees into the labor market. Another section of the thesis focuses on the specific effects of the refugee wave on the Czech labor market. It analyzes changes in employment, the demand for labor, and professional mobility resulting from this migration. The thesis also explores how this situation manifests itself in various industries and regions in the Czech Republic. The results of this thesis contribute to a better understanding of the impact of migration on the labor market in the Czech Republic and highlight the challenges and opportunities that this situation presents. The thesis offers valuable insights for policymakers, employers, and other stakeholders involved in labor market and migration issues.
