Abstract

Tato diplomní práce navazuje na diplomní seminář, který se zabýval prozkoumáním měst Bärenstein a Vejprty, jež vznikla a rozvíjela se v těsné blízkosti na hranici mezi Českou republikou a Německem. Cílem diplomové práce je provázat tato města, lépe je zapojit do sítě pěších a cyklistických tras a podpořit konkrétní lokality na hranici obou měst. Je použita kombinace přístupů, od trasování cest a umisťování prvků drobné architektury, až po detailní návrhy objektů a veřejných prostranství na přesně vybraných místech.

This thesis is a continuation of a diploma seminar that explored the towns of Bärenstein and Vejprty, which were founded and developed in close proximity on the border between the Czech Republic and Germany. The aim of the thesis is to link these towns, to better integrate them into a network of walking and cycling routes and to promote specific sites on the border of the two towns. It uses a combination of approaches, ranging from the routing of paths and the placement of small architectural elements to the detailed design of buildings and public spaces in precisely selected locations.
