Náchylnost k vizuální iluzi poměru stran dráhy na simulátoru

Abstract

Obrovské množství leteckých nehod bylo způsobeno vizuálními iluzemi a pro zvýšení bezpečnosti letu je nezbytné věnovat pozornost problémů lidského faktoru. Tato práce se zaměřuje na specifickou vizuální iluzi poměru stran přistávací dráhy. V teoretické části práce je představen základ pro pochopení problematiky v oblasti vizuálních iluzí, s primárním ohledem na tzv. iluzi poměru stran dráhy a provedena analýza současného stavu. Následná experimentální část práce je prováděna s využitím virtuální reality s cílem ověřit, zda se dají vytvořit podmínky pro iluzi poměru stran dráhy při přiblíženích na simulátoru. Praktického měření se zúčastnilo celkem 10 pilotů, kteří měli za úkol provést 3 přiblížení na dráhu o šířce 60 m, 30 m, 90 m a konstantní délkou. Výsledná naměřená data byly analyzována vhodnými statistickými metodami a potvrdila hypotézu o nalezení vlivu dané iluze během letu v simulovaném prostředí. V závěru práce jsou probrány limitaci a doporučení k rozvojů této problematiky a potřebný navazující výzkum.

A large number of aviation accidents have been caused by visual illusions, and for increased flight safety, it is essential to pay attention to the issues of the human factor. This work focuses on a specific runway width visual illusion. In the theoretical part, the foundation for understanding the issues in the field of visual illusions is presented, with primary emphasis on the so-called runway width illusion, and an analysis of the current state is conducted. The subsequent experimental part of the work is carried out using virtual reality to verify whether conditions for the runway width illusion can be created during approaches on a simulator. A total of 10 pilots participated in the practical measurements, who were tasked with performing 3 approaches to a runway with widths of 60 m, 30 m, 90 m, and a constant length. The resulting measured data were analyzed using appropriate statistical methods and confirmed the hypothesis of finding the influence of the given illusion during flight in a simulated environment. In conclusion, the limitations and recommendations for the development of this issue and the necessary subsequent research are discussed.
