V rámci této práci byly vytvořeny numerické modely ouška levé síně srdeční (OLS) a přiléhajících nervus phrenicus (NP) a tepny levý cirkumflex (LCx), na kterých byly provedeny simulace elektrických polí a ohřevu. In this work, numerical models of the left atrial appendage (OLS) and the adjacent nervus phrenicus (NP) and left circumflex (LCx) artery were created and used to simulate electric fields and heating. Electrical simulations were performed for four scenarios of cardiac tissue material property settings, and for each scenario the distribution of the electric field E across the simulated objects was evaluated graphically and numerically. For each scenario, the electrical resistance of the tissue and the current flowing into the tissue were determined. It was found that scenarios 1 and 3 and scenarios 2 and 4 lead to the same simulation results. During the experimental measurements, the pulse waveforms delivered by the electroporation device were displayed using an oscilloscope. The values of the electrical resistance of the tissue and the current flowing into the tissue were determined and compared with the values obtained from the simulator. The results were most similar to scenarios 2 and 4. Experimental measurements and then simulation of the change in tissue temperature after delivery of the electroporation pulses were performed. In both the simulation and the experiment, a non-negligible increase in temperature was measured, 1.68 °C in the case of the simulation and almost double, i.e.,3.1 °C, in the case of the experimental measurement.
