Efektivita brachyradiumterapie v Léčebných lázních Jáchymov

Abstract

Má diplomová práce se zabývá efektivitou brachyradiumterapie v Léčebných lázních Jáchymov. Cílem práce bylo zjištění, jaká je účinnost brachyradiumterapie na bolestivé stavy pacientů. Jednalo se o chronické bolesti při artróze kyčelního kloubu, kolenního kloubu a zad v bederní oblasti. V teoretické části se zabývám ionizujícím zářením, bezpečností a ochranou před ním, dále nenádorovou radioterapií a brachyradiumterapií v Léčebných lázních Jáchymov. Poté jsou popsány vybrané diagnózy zahrnuté do výzkumu a poslední částí je legislativní úprava a státní orgány správy. V metodické části se nachází informace o probandech, sběru dat, dotazníkovém šetření a používaných škálách bolesti. Dosažené výsledky pomocí dotazníkového šetření jsou prezentovány ve formě tabulek a grafů. Nacházejí se zde odpovědi z dotazníku od každého probanda a také statisticky zpracované souhrnné výsledky. Z dosažených výsledků vyplývá, že po dvou měsících od aplikace brachyradiumterapie se snížila bolestivost a také se snížilo dávkování medikamentů na bolest u většiny pacientů. V diskusi jsou porovnány dosažené výsledky s jinými dostupnými studiemi a poukázání zodpovědnosti rehabilitačního lékaře a radiologického asistenta.

My diploma thesis solves the effectiveness of brachyradium therapy in the Jáchymov Spa. The aim of the work was to find out the effectiveness of brachyradium therapy on patients' painful conditions. These are chronic pains in arthrosis of the hip joint, knee joint and back pain in the lumbar part of the body. In the theoretical part, my work deals with ionizing radiation, safety, and protection from it, as well as non-tumor radiotherapy and brachyradium therapy in the Jáchymov Spa. Subsequently, selected diagnoses included in the research are described. The last part discusses the legislative arrangement and public authorities. The methodological part contains information about the subjects, data collection, questionnaire survey and pain scales used. The results achieved using the questionnaire survey are presented in the form of tables and graphs. There are answers from the questionnaire from each respondent as well as statistically processed summary results. The obtained results indicate that after two months of brachyradium therapy, the pain level decreased, and the dosage of pain medication was also reduced in most patients. In the discussion, the achieved results are compared with other available studies and the responsibility of the rehabilitation doctor and radiology assistant is pointed out.
