Diagnostika mozkové smrti – současné radiologické možnosti

Abstract

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá definicí pojmu mozkové smrti a vymezení současných radiodiagnostických možností v rámci této problematiky. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a část praktickou. V teoretické části je popsána anatomie a fyziologie nervové soustavy, včetně centrální nervové soustavy a cév zásobujících mozek. Dále je popsána mozková smrt s českou právní legislativou týkající se dárcovství orgánů v České republice. Rovněž je v práci objasněna patofyziologie mozkové smrti a průběh stanovení mozkové smrti v České republice. V následujících kapitolách jsou vysvětleny radiologické vyšetřovací metody sloužící ke stanovení smrti mozku a v neposlední řadě je v teoretické části uvedena obecná úloha radiologického asistenta a radiační ochrana. V praktické části je metodou kvalitativního výzkumu formou případových studií zpracováno deset vybraných kazuistik pacientů s diagnostikou mozkové smrti. Jednotlivé kazuistiky detailně popisují pacientův stav vedoucí k stanovení smrti mozku a radiologické vyšetření s následným určením souhlasu (či nesouhlasu) k dárcovství orgánů. Výsledkem praktické části je podrobná analýza, komparace, zhodnocení jednotlivých kazuistik pacientů a nalezení společných či rozdílných znaků

This bachelor thesis attempts to tackle the definition of the concept of brain death and the definition of current radiodiagnostic options within this issue. The work is divided into a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part describes the anatomy and physiology of the nervous system, including the central nervous system and blood vessels supplying the brain. Furthermore, the brain death description is based on the Czech legal legislation regarding organ donation in the Czech Republic. The work also explains the pathophysiology of brain death and the process of determining brain death in the Czech Republic. In the following chapters, radiological examination methods used to determine brain death are explained. Lastly, the general roles of radiological assistants and radiation protection are presented in the theoretical part. In the practical part, ten selected case studies of patients diagnosed with brain death are processed using the method of qualitative research in the form of case reports. Individual case studies describe the patient's condition in detail leading to the determination of brain death and radiological examination with the subsequent consent (or non-consent) to organ donation. The result of the practical part is a detailed analysis, comparison, evaluation of individual case reports of patients and the finding of common or different features.
