Práce nabízí cenné poznatky o možnostech integrace HZS ČR do systému přednemocniční neodkladné péče, což by mohlo vést ke zlepšení úrovně přežití pacientů, zefektivnění systému přednemocniční neodkladné péče a účelnějšímu nakládání se zdroji. This thesis explores the potential for closer integration of the Fire rescue service of the Czech Republic into the prehospital emergency care system. The study is divided into two sections: theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part, the paper discusses the concepts of prehospital emergency care and its functioning in the Czech Republic, highlighting the EMS system, relevant laws, first aid, first responder programs, and first aid training in fire departments and the way how they already participate in the prehospital emergency care system. The paper emphasizes that Fire rescue service of the Czech Republic aims to enhance their first aid education and might want to become a more integral part of the prehospital emergency care system. In the practical section, the paper presents findings from interviews with four stakeholders, comprising two EMS agency managers and two experts in prehospital emergency care. Three models of possible integration are proposed based on the interview analysis: the BLS model, the First responder model, and the Current system. These models were further evaluated using multicriterial analysis, specifically the analytic hierarchy process method. The results indicate that the BLS model is the most favourable option for integration, followed closely by the First responder model. This thesis offers valuable insights into the possibilities of integrating the Fire Brigade of the Czech Republic into the prehospital emergency care system, which could lead to improved patient outcomes, more efficient prehospital emergency care system in the country and better allocation of resources.
