The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of painful conditions of the shoulder joint within a weight-training population. The therapy is differentiated between two groups of probands and compares between exercise plans using elements of the DNS and PNF methods. Results focus on their effect on pain and associated deficits in range of motion and muscle strength. The bachelor thesis is divided into three main parts, theoretical, methodical and special part. The theoretical part starts with a focus on the anatomy and biomechanics of the shoulder girdle, then the most common types of disorders and their possible etiologies in the context of weight-training are described. This is followed by a methodical part which describes the approach used in the therapy and the specifics of examination that will serve as a foundation for the results. Then the two methods used are presented. The special section opens with ten initial kinesiological analyses of probands, divided into group A, therapy using elements of DNS, and group B, working with diagonal movements as a part of the PNF method. In the results chapter, the outcome values of the measured parameters are evaluated and compared with each other using tables and graphs. It is pointed out that the exercises in both methods are very effective on positively influencing the patient's shoulder pain, but also his overall condition due to their comprehensive approach.
