Hlavní veřejná prostranství (lokální centra) malých sídel v okolí Prahy

Abstract

Vývoj malých sídlech v okolí velkých měst, a především Prahy byl, v devadesátých letech minulého století poznamenán silným nárůstem rezidenční zástavby. Tento fenomén úzce souvisel se společenskými změnami v tehdejším Československu. Prudký a v zásadě neřízený nárůst intravilánu s sebou nesl řadu negativních dopadů, a to především na vlastní společenský život výše zmíněných sídel. Všeobecně se tento proces nazývá suburbanizace a je jednou z přirozených vývojových fází urbanismu. Jedním z negativních dopadů rychlého rozšiřování zastavěných ploch byla zásadní rezignace na integraci veřejných prostranství v těchto nových částech sídel. Velkým nedostatkem, který s postupem času narůstal bylo u mnoha těchto (původně malých) sídel chybějící hlavní nebo centrální veřejné prostranství – náves, náměstí. Tento typ prostranství má ve veřejném a společenském životě sídla svou nezastupitelnou úlohu, především jí dává osobitý výraz, potřebný k vlastní identifikaci jejích obyvatel. Toto si mnohá sídla dnes již uvědomují a čelí tak nelehkému úkolu tento nedostatek napravit. Jaké jsou ale možnosti implantování takového prostoru do již zastavěného území sídla a jak by měl takový prostor vypadat, je předmětem zájmu této práce.

The development of small villages in the close position of large cities and especially of Prague was marked by a strong increase in residential development in the 1990s. This phenomenon was closely related to the social changes in the then Czechoslovakia. The sharp and basically uncontrolled growth of urban areas brought with it a number of negative effects, especially on the social life of the above-mentioned villages. Generally, this process is called suburbanism and is one of the natural developmental stages of urbanism. One of the negative effects of the rapid expansion of built-up areas was the fundamental resignation to the integration of public spaces in these new parts of municipalities. The big shortcoming, which grew over time, was the deficiency of the main or central space - the village green, the square. This type of space has its irreplaceable role in the public and social life of the municipality and often gives it the special image needed to identify its inhabitants. What are the possibilities of implanting such a space into the already built-up area of the village and what such a space should look like is the subject of interest of this work.
