Analýza inovativnosti vybraných států OECD

Abstract

Tato diplomová práce hodnotí inovativnost členských států OECD, během definovaného období let 2015 až 2021. V teoretické části se zabývá tématem inovací a úrovní inovativnosti, z pozice států i jednotlivých podniků, včetně metod jejího hodnocení. Dále představuje téma charakteristiky států z pohledu dimenzí národních kultur, jako možný faktor inovativnosti a také téma duševního vlastnictví, jako způsobu ochrany inovace. Podstatou praktické části je sekundární výzkum, sestávající ze statistické části, zkoumající závislosti mezi mírou inovativnosti zemí a socioekonomickými ukazateli, včetně charakteristik národních kultur, a z části komparativní a hodnotící, která porovnává zázemí pro inovace a podmínky pro ochranu duševního vlastnictví, ve vybraných státech OECD. Výzkum je doplněn o náhled do české inovační scény start-up a spin-off firem. Podkladem pro výzkum jsou statistiky a další informace z veřejně dostupných databází a dalších zdrojů. Výsledky výzkumu poskytují i vyhodnocení pozice České republiky mezi zeměmi OECD, v rámci zkoumaných charakteristik.

This master thesis evaluates the innovativeness of OECD member countries, over a defined period from 2015 to 2021. In the theoretical part, it deals with the topic of innovation and the level of innovativeness, from the perspective of both countries and individual companies, including the methods of its assessment. Furthermore, the thesis introduces the topic of country characteristics in terms of dimensions of national cultures, as a possible factor of innovativeness, as well as the topic of intellectual property as a way of protecting innovation. The essence of the practical part is secondary research, consisting of a statistical part, examining the dependencies between the level of innovativeness of countries and socio-economic indicators, including the characteristics of national cultures, and a comparative and evaluative part, comparing the background for innovation and conditions for intellectual property protection, in selected OECD countries. The research is complemented by insights into the Czech innovation scene of start-up and spin-off companies. Statistics and other information from publicly available databases and other sources are the basis for the research. The results of the research also provide an assessment of the position of the Czech Republic among OECD countries in terms of the characteristics studied.
