Implementace rámce SAFe do organizace

Abstract

Diplomová práce se zabývá tématem implementace znalostního rámce Scaled Agile Framework® do organizace. Cílem této práce je zkoumání teorie agilního přístupu a jak je používán ve vybrané organizaci. Teoretická část je zaměřena na uvedení do agilního přístupu jako takového, popisuje Agilní Manifesto, které je dodnes základním kamenem celé agility. Dále popisuje vybrané metodické rámce, jako například eXtreme Programming, Scrum a Kanban. V neposlední řadě se práce dopodrobna zabývá právě znalostním rámcem SAFe®. Praktická část práce se pak zaměřuje na assessment (vyhodnocení), jak vybraná organizace tento rámec ve svém fungování používá a na základě zjištěných poznatků navrhuje vhodná doporučení na zlepšení. Sběr potřebných dat probíhal třemi způsoby: návštěvy a náslechy SAFe® ceremonií na úrovni Agile Release Trainu (ARTu), studiem dokumentace a osobními rozhovory s lidmi zastupující vybrané role. Assessment nám pomohl odhalit nedostatky při konání ceremonie PI Planning. Důležití členové ARTu se této ceremonie neúčastní, ceremonie se koná ve většině případech on-line, příprava na tuto ceremonii není dostatečná a mnoho dalších.

This thesis deals with the topic of implementing the Scaled Agile Framework® into an organisation. The aim of this thesis is to explore the theory of the Agile approach, its history and how it is used in a selected organisation. The theoretical part focuses on an introduction to the agile approach itself, describing the Agile Manifesto, which is still the the foundation of all agile. It also describes selected methodological frameworks such as eXtreme Programming, Scrum and Kanban. Last but not least, this thesis looks in detail at the SAFe® framework. The practical part focuses on the assessment of how the selected organisation uses this framework in its activities and on the basis of assessment findings propose appropriate recommendations for improvement. The collection of the necessary data was done by using three methods: by visiting and listening to SAFe® ceremonies at Agile Release Train (ART) level, by studying documentation and by personal interviews with people representing the selected roles. The assessment helped us to identify gaps in the PI Planning ceremony. Important ART members do not attend this ceremony, the ceremony is held online in most cases, there is not enough preparation for this ceremony, and many others.
